Robotic Dairy Farm Nový Dvůr
The barn with a total capacity of 153 animals designed for housing heifers until calving and cows during the whole intermediate period. Lactating dairy cows are milked by a GEA milking robot. Each group of animals is housed in bedded boxes. Manure is removed by chain scraper systém. The barn of steel construction has an insulted roof with overhanging ridge slit equipped with a roll-up curtain to regulate air exchange. The barn serves for teaching students of the VFU in Brno.
